and tell them you would like to direct your donation to Habitat for Humanity. The value of the donation on your receipt can be deducted as a charitable donation off your taxes in the year that you make the donation. Make a contribution in support of our rider in the annual Cover Indiana Bike tour!

This will be the eighth year that board member (and web "master") Barbara Sehr will participate in the 7-day, 360 mile bike tour to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of the Kokomo Community. Barbara will pay a fee to cover the costs of her room and board while on the tour so all donations raised by this effort are used to support the work of Habitat for Humanity of the Kokomo Community. Habitat for Humanity of the Kokomo Community, Inc. hopes to build three new homes during 2012 and will also undertake small projects such as roof repairs, plumbing, electrical, and wheelchair ramps for homeowners who cannot afford to have such services performed by conventional providers. This service has helped many families who are unable to afford costly repairs that are needed to keep their homes safe and livable. Small project repairs are performed at cost with zero percent interest with a payment plan suitable to the family's income. All donations will support these efforts.
