Family Selection

• Selects and recommends prospective homeowner families fo the board
• Makes home visits to prospective homeowners to evaluate current housing conditions
• Evaluates family's housing needs, income and willingness to partner

Family Support

• Welcome new homeowners to the Habitat family
• Provide partner families with educational opportunities concerning homeownership
• Serve as the primary liaison between the affiliate and the partner family

Construction

• Land and materials acquisition
• House plans
• Construction supervision
• All aspects of home construction (plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, etc.)

Church relations

• Serve as liaison between affiliate and local Churches
• Assist with Apostles' Build project

Public awareness

• Provide the local community with information about Habitat projects
• Educate the local community about the need for decent, affordable housing

Development

• Conduct events to raise funds to support the work of the affiliate
• Explore grant opportunities for increasing building capacity
• Conduct direct mailings to supporters
